"Holy in a Hurry" is a book of meditations and prayer suggestions, based on the spirituality and sayings of St. Jacinta Marto of Fatima.
St. Jacinta Marto, the youngest Fatima visionary, was graced with visions of an angel in 1916 at age of 6, and the Virgin Mary at Fatima in 1917. She experienced additional visits from the heavenly Mother periodically until her death in 1920 at the age of 10. In that short span of time, consumed with the fire of Divine Love, she climbed the heights of holiness and sanctity – amazing those around her with her great wisdom, spiritual insights and mystical gifts. Her cousin and fellow Fatima seer, Lucia dos Santos (Sister Lucia) recorded Jacinta’s life and words in her memoirs. Mother Godinho, her caregiver at the hospital in Lisbon, also revealed Jacinta’s interactions with the Blessed Mother in her last days. These 82 meditations are based upon those reports. They not only teach the Fatima message but show how St. Jacinta lived a total consecration to Jesus through Mary. Her holiness is the result of uniting her will with God’s every day and accepting any suffering that was asked of her. May these reflections help you also say ‘yes’ to Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, enabling you to become “holy in a hurry”.
