Sheen on March 16, 1967 and went on to be a founding member of the community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in New York. He also helped to found the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal. He was active in teaching, retreats, conferences, parish missions and spiritual direction. He is a well-known expert on the Fatima apparitions and is the author of several books on the subject. He was also the host of Sunday Night Prime on Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).
