Since the age of 9, Lucia dos Santos was a ‘catechist’ to the younger children in her village, having been taught so well by her mother. Her writings reflect her gift and talent as a catechist and evangelist, especially in her book Calls from the Message of Fatima. Mary’s Gentle Path is a book of daily quotes, meditations and prayer suggestions based on Lucia’s writings. By prayerfully reflecting on these meditations and implementing the daily challenges, one cannot help but develop a more intense knowledge of the Fatima message and a deeper love for Our Lady and Our Lord. Like St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, the herald and apostle of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sister Lucia is the herald and apostle of devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This day-by-day guide will help you grow in this devotion.
